The C.D.C. is a ministry under the Children's and Youth Committee.

Our Common Interest: The care and safety of each child.

Our Common Goal: To meet the physical, intellectual, emotional and spiritual needs of each child.

All activities are in a comfortable and safe environment under the guidance of very qualified and responsible staff members. The Child Development Center bases its daily activities in an environment of play. Through play children learn all about the world around them. Playing imaginatively, allows children to express their knowledge of life and the people they encounter each day.

We believe there can be no greater commitment of God's love than to invest in His miracle of new life; to nurture and support the growth and development of these early years in an atmosphere of Christian love. Our preschool staff works to create such an environment.

We us a sensory curriculum (sight, hearing, touch, taste and smell) as the basis for our program. Through the senses a child can discover the greatness of God and the mysterious wonders of creation.

We recognize the individuality of each child and focus on helping them discover their potential as an individual. We believe a positive self-image helps each of us begin to see ourselves ad God's special and unique creation. Thus, we also strive to encourage a positive self-image within each child.

The Child Development Center is a ministry of the Arcadia Presbyterian Church. Our church is always available to assist school families in any way possible.

School Hours: 8:30 am - 3:30 pm

Early drop off may be arranged for 8:00 am
